Stockholm by night

Stockholm must be one of the most beautiful cities in the world, especially by night…

2nd April

…Just maybe not last night 🤣

A few minutes after this picture was taken, I spoke to a prospective Chief Technical Officer that we have been trying to get to work with us... and he graciously declined. The man has a heroic work ethic, but even he is only given 24 hours a day, and he just couldn’t spare the time.

I understood, of course, but this news came while I was pulling my bag and walking 3 km to my accommodation because Google Maps had assumed I’d take a shortcut through a dark, empty park… not my thing when in an unfamiliar location. After 4 hours on a train, at midnight, pulling a bag uphill, and then having a potential team member quit before they’ve even started, I did briefly wonder if this whole entrepreneurial journey was worth it.

Then I dusted myself off, found the hostel, set my alarm, listened to some gratitude guided meditation, and this morning we go again.
